My point of view on a lot has changed after watching Fruitvale Station. I personally feel like what Oscar Grant went through is horrible, just imagining what his family went through is so emotional. I honestly feel like us youths should have a say so in how things happen … like I feel us as teens go through the most with so many young people dying that we know, or just know of.

Watching Fruitvale Station changed my outlook on police. For the worse. My biggest issue with the police is their "profiling." I already think they do unnecessary things when it comes down to the color of a person’s skin, how a person is dressed, or how they look.

Police are supposed to keep peace and order, and ultimately, keep everyone safe. However, more than often, police are starting to hurt people. And their reason? Because some fee as if they can just do whatever they want.

The happiest moment in a women, men, and family life is being pregnant and knowing the fact that you're about to be a mother.  One thing about being  pregnant is that you have to maintain a proper healthy body and eat right so the baby can be healthy and strong.

Between 70-89 percent of sudden cardiac arrest occurs in men. I don't know about you, but I never knew the percentage was so high. Some symptoms could be pain or discomfort in the jaw, neck, or back; feeling weak, light-headed,chest pain or discomfort; pain or discomfort in the arms or shoulders; and shortness of breath. But there aren't always clear signs and symptoms for heart disease, so it's good to go in for check up often with the doctor. Also, it's important to stay healthy and maintain a good diet. Having a poor diet, smoking or being overweight are all things that can lead to heart disease.

Diabetes is a very important health matter and should be treated with care. Diabetes is a disease where a person doesn't process food the proper way and has too watch their sugar levels. I personally don't know what it feels like to have diabetes, but I am close to someone who does.

I feel it's never right for a woman, man, or even a child to feel like they have to sell their body because they have no other way to get any money. I also, feel it doesn’t make any sense for them to just be sent to jail; that alone doesn’t solve anything. All it does in my eyes is make them feel like less of a person. Where is the lesson in that? They have to be taught that there are other ways; more positive ways to get money.

A new single has come out. It's called "Dirty Laundry' by Kelly Rowland. Rowland sings about her experience with abuse in the past, as well as her moments of jealousy. Many have accused Rowland of being jealous of her former Destiny's Child singing partner, Beyonce. She says in her song, "While my sister was on the stage killin' it like a motherf***er / I was enraged, feeling it like a motherf***er."

If you'd asked my opinion on long-distance relationships a few years ago, my answer would've been something along the lines of, "they never work." I would probably laugh in your face, and go on with my day. As harsh as that sounds, I thought I was right. I believed that attempting to dedicate yourself to someone you couldn't see frequently was a very foolish idea. But now, I've changed my mind.

Love is something that you cannot see. It is something you feel, but not physically. It’s really an emotion.

Love is really when you are past liking something or someone. It is a higher level of a relationship. When you are really in love you like the person for who they are and you are able to compromise with them. Also you feel good when you are with them; basically, you want to spend time with them because you feel good in their company.

In the media, TV shows like Jersey Shore, show women who take alcohol a little too far. They are constantly out partying and drinking until they black out. Is it just TV or do people really drink that much?
