The 7 Areas of Wellness
Environmental wellness is when you feel safe in your neighborhood or environment and when you are able to find environments or spaces you feel good and comfortable in.
Emotional wellness means you are in touch with your feelings and you know how to handle your emotions.
Someone who is intellectually well is able to dig deeper into things and have conversations with people on many different topics.
Occupational wellness is when you feel good about your job, and you don’t dread going to work every day. You enjoy what you do and you have healthy relationships with the people you work with.
Physical wellness is when you feel healthy physically. You exercise regularly and eat well so your body is healthy.
Social wellness means you know how to be social and interact with others.
Spiritual wellness doesn’t always have to do with religion. It is simply when you feel healthy or well in a spiritual way. For example, a lot of people connect to their spiritualness by meditating or doing yoga.
